Solar and electrical engineers for the Kalutara district
KTronics' own engineers cover the whole Kalutara district — the southernmost of the three Western Province districts — as everyday work from Kelaniya: Panadura, Bandaragama and Horana in the north, Wadduwa, Kalutara, Beruwala and Aluthgama along the coast, and Matugama, Agalawatta and Bulathsinhala inland. Rooftop solar under the Net Plus scheme, hybrid and off-grid systems, backup power, electrical wiring, networks and CCTV, for hotels, factories, estates and homes.
Work in the Kalutara district
The coast from Wadduwa to Aluthgama is hotel country, where a power cut is a guest-facing failure and backup power has to work the first time. Panadura and Horana carry much of the district's industry, and inland the sites are more spread out — estates and bungalows where the supply is weak or absent, and an off-grid or hybrid system is the practical answer. The same engineers cover all of it, and a maintenance agreement is honoured wherever the system is.
Towns we cover
The whole district, down to its southern boundary. The towns below are a guide to where a survey is arranged as everyday work; a site further inland is still covered.

Which utility, and which clearance route
Parts of the Kalutara district are supplied by LECO and the rest by Electricity Distribution Lanka, the former CEB distribution areas — still called the CEB by most people, and by us. The capacity clearance for a new rooftop solar system goes to whichever of the two bills the premises: through the EDLCare portal at edlcare.edl.lk, or through LECO's Solar PV Capacity Clearance System at solar.leco.lk. The bill names the utility.
We prepare and submit the request, with a photograph of both sides of the account holder's national identity card and a recent bill. New systems connect under Net Plus, the only scheme for new rooftop solar agreements since the Ministry of Energy's directive of 11 September 2026. How long the utility's part takes depends mostly on its area office and on whether the local transformer has capacity to spare, so we do not promise a date that is not ours to keep.
Registered, reviewed, and what we commit to
KTronics (Pvt) Ltd is registered in Sri Lanka under company number PV 124279. For solar work we are a Registered Solar PV Service Provider with the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority, number S00773, listed in the public register as "K Tronics (Pvt) Ltd" — a registration that covers solar PV work only, and a listing rather than an endorsement. Customers rate us 4.9 from more than 50 Google reviews.
The distance from Kelaniya changes nothing in the agreement. Ten years on every device we supply, as our own undertaking; under a maintenance agreement, a response to a reported hardware breakdown within six hours, an authorised person on site within three working days, and resolution within five working days where the failed part is one we stock. Systems are read daily on our own monitoring platform, so a fault at a hotel in Beruwala or a bungalow inland is known about the same day it happens.
