Gampaha is KTronics' home district: the registered office is at Kohalwila in Kelaniya, and our own engineers cover the whole district as everyday work — Kelaniya, Kiribathgoda and Kadawatha on the Kandy road, Wattala, Ja-Ela and Negombo up the coast, and Gampaha, Minuwangoda, Veyangoda and Mirigama inland. Rooftop solar under the Net Plus scheme, hybrid and backup power, electrical wiring, networks and CCTV, for factories, offices and homes.
Work in the Gampaha district
The district holds the Katunayake and Biyagama export processing zones and a long run of factories and workshops along the Kandy and Negombo roads, with a great many houses in the towns between. For a factory or warehouse that means rooftop solar on a three-phase supply, a standby generator converted to a solar hybrid, power factor correction, industrial wiring and automation. For a home it means rooftop solar, a hybrid system for the power cuts, rewiring, Wi-Fi that reaches every room, and CCTV.

Which utility, and which clearance route
LECO supplies parts of the Gampaha district, and Electricity Distribution Lanka — the former CEB distribution areas, which most people still call the CEB — supplies the rest. Which of the two bills your premises decides where the capacity clearance for a new rooftop solar system is requested: EDLCare at edlcare.edl.lk for a CEB-area supply, LECO's Solar PV Capacity Clearance System at solar.leco.lk for a LECO supply. The bill names the utility.
We prepare and submit the request for you against the account the system will connect to; it needs a photograph of both sides of the account holder's national identity card and a recent bill. Since the Ministry of Energy's directive of 11 September 2026 a new system connects under Net Plus; Net Metering and Net Accounting are closed to new applicants.
Registered, reviewed, and what we commit to
KTronics (Pvt) Ltd is registered in Sri Lanka under company number PV 124279, with its registered office at 722, Temple Road, Kohalwila, Kelaniya 11600 — not a shop to walk into; engineers come to the site by appointment. For solar work we are a Registered Solar PV Service Provider with the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority, number S00773, listed in the public register as "K Tronics (Pvt) Ltd"; the registration covers solar PV work only, and it is a listing rather than an endorsement. Customers rate us 4.9 from more than 50 Google reviews.
Ten years on every device we supply, as our own undertaking. Under a maintenance agreement: a response to a reported hardware breakdown within six hours, an authorised person on site within three working days, and resolution within five working days where the failed part is one we stock. Being the home district changes the journey, not the terms.
